WHY DID I CREATE A T-SHIRT COMPANY?

Why did I get up one morning and decide to make t-shirts out of all the things possible to do? My mother, Dana, was diagnosed with four auto-immune diseases five years ago. It was hard on our family to know she was ill with no cure available. Once the Coronavirus Pandemic hit in March of 2020, my mother, aunt, and uncle gifted me with a t-shirt making machine to keep my mind off the unfortunate turn the world had taken. I was so appreciative of the opportunity that I decided to share the gift of hand-made t-shirts, custom to your needs, with the rest of the world. My mother is truly my biggest inspiration, and I desire to be successful because of the influence and motivation she has given me.

Why Anna Banana Designs? Well, my mother always called me Anna Banana as a kid, since I liked bananas so much. It brings me happiness and joy to name my company after my mother's nickname for me, since my company is dedicated to her health.

Hi everyone! Thank you for taking the time to visit my up and coming website! I am 17 and am currently attending my last year of high school at Cherry Creek located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. I am involved in various clubs such as Spanish Honor Society and Big Sisters, where I volunteer to tutor fellow students in need of assistance. I also play number one doubles on the Varsity One girl's tennis team, in which we have taken home two individual and team 5A State Championships. Once the COVID Pandemic hit, I was no longer able to tutor students, so I signed up to be a Quarantutor. This is a non-profit organization started by two high schoolers from California. I volunteered to tutor a first grader from San Jose, California. She is truly the sweetest, brightest part of my days, especially during COVID. I spend most of my time teaching her Spanish and English grammar concepts, while also learning about her culturally diverse family and adorable stuffies. It is truly my pleasure to be involved in her life and learn from her.

And, of course, my two little rays of sunshine, Mozart and Peach, make my days happier and lighter than ever before. I can thank them for being there for me when I just need a hug.
